Commitment to research

I am pleased to be able to support the work of Future Energy and to provide impulses for research and education that will prepare young people for working for a sustainable energy supply. I see the task of politics as being to create the necessary political framework. The local energy transition will then be carried out by the citizens, the municipalities and the economy. This requires high-quality professionals, like those trained at the OWL UAS. The OWL region is an ideal location for the institute, economically strong and with many companies working for the energy transition.
