Markus Filippi

Forschungstätigkeit / Research activities:

Markus Filippi ist an der Entwicklung von Lern-Apps für das Fach Fluidmechanik im Rahmen des Projekts "Virtual Fluid Experience" beteiligt. Darüber hinaus promoviert er im Bereich der Umströmung reversibler S-Profile.

Markus Filippi is involved in the development of learning apps for fluid mechanics as part of the "Virtual Fluid Experience" project. In addition, he is doing his doctorate in the area of ​​flow around reversible S-profiles.

Berufstätigkeit / Employment:

Seit April 2018 ist Filippi wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Arbeitsgruppe für Strömungsmaschinen und Fluiddynamik an der Technischen Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe (TH OWL). Seit 2015 ist er außerdem als Lehrbeauftragter im Fern- und Teilzeitstudium in der Fachhochschule des Mittelstands in Bielefeld und Hannover tätig und unterrichtet folgende Module:

• Mathematik für wirtschaftliche und technische Anwendungen
• Wirtschaftsmathematik und Statistik
• Strömungstechnik

Since April 2018, Filippi has been a research assistant in the working group for turbomachinery and fluid dynamics at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts (TH OWL). Since 2015 he has also worked as a lecturer in distance and part-time studies at the University of Applied Sciences for medium-sized companies in Bielefeld and Hanover and teaches the following modules:     

• Mathematics for economic and technical applications     
• Business Mathematics and Statistics    
• Flow technology

Akademische Ausbildung / Academic education:

Seit Juli 2018 ist Filippi Promovend an der TH OWL und der Universität Braunschweig. Die Basis für seine Promotionstätigkeit bilden ein Bachelor der Maschinentechnik (beendet 2014) und ein Master des Maschinenbaus (beendet 2017). Beide Studienausbildungen erhielt Filippi an der TH OWL.

Filippi has been a PhD student at TH OWL and the University of Braunschweig since July 2018. The basis for his doctoral work is a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (completed in 2014) and a master's degree in mechanical engineering (completed in 2017). Filippi received both studies at the TH OWL.
